Private QR labels and inventory for physical boxes.
Data handling
- Box inventory, item names, rooms, categories, recent scans, widget counters, and label settings are processed on device.
- The app and widget share recent scan summaries and counters through the BoxLabels App Group so the widget can show current information.
- When iCloud is available, box inventory may sync through your private iCloud database.
- Photos, backups, generated label PDFs, and QR labels are created only when you ask and may use iCloud Drive when enabled by you or the system.
- Camera access is used for QR scanning and when you choose to photograph boxes or items. Photos stay on your device or in your private iCloud storage when enabled, and are not uploaded to third parties. Microphone and speech recognition are used only when you dictate item names.
- Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit.
- For free adult users, the app may use Google AdMob and the Google User Messaging Platform to request and display ads. Google may process IP address, approximate location, device or app identifiers, diagnostics, performance data, advertising data, and ad interactions for advertising, analytics, consent management, security, and fraud prevention. Ads are disabled for Pro users, children, users whose age or purchase entitlement is unresolved, and automated UI tests. The app does not request permission to track activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
